Wolfgang

I had the fortunate experience and luck to meet an extraordinary man four years ago. As most of us in Tahoe, who were “chosen”, this shy and timid man, named Wolfgang, introduced himself to me and asked me to join his skiing party. I spent years skiing alone and on that day I decided to follow this Pied Piper and his merry crew around the hill. Since then my world has been changed for the better. Wolfgang, you have enriched my life and the lives of those around us. You are a caring, giving, and loving person. You make everyone feel wanted and important. You are full of energy and a work ethic that demonstrates why this country is so great. You have the amazing ability to find the “extraordinary in the ordinary” in everything in life. You may not realize how important you are to so many people but we all do. You are a great friend and my “colleague” in life forever now. I hope to be spending many more years together on the hill, in the water, at the dinner table, working together, and throughout our many more future adventures in life. As I dedicated the song from “Wicked” to you and our friendship, I include parts of the lyrics in this tribute to you. Because I knew you, I have been changed for good. I love you man and hope to spend many more years chasing you around the hill.
