October and November
It's truely nice not to have to worry about room additions, landscaping projects, and kitchen remodels. The Palis are just enjoying life. Halloween was fun with the trick or treaters and the Palis went to the Blackhawk Costume Party as an old married couple. No really, look closely at the photo, it isn't just Pat and Ali in their robes, we're wearing masks with our robes. Hard to tell the difference. Ali was a real kick, dancing all night in her robe. A mini family reunion in early November. Pat's favorite son, Jeff finished his movie (go see it, The Polar Express) and had a few days off before his next project and we all got together with Hawiian shirts. Turkey bowl is coming up in a couple of weeks and photos will be coming. Nechia's Volleyball team is doing very well and Heather is playing great. The son in laws are just working hard and bringing in the money. The girls have them trained as does Ali with Pat working all the time. But he's getting ready for his sabbatical leave this winter and spring. Winter he will be a full time student in Lake Tahoe. No really. He's taking winter backpacking courses and snowboarding classes to keep up with his students in his snow conditioning class. In the spring the Palis are going down underto study Australian Sport. And no it's not coming out of tax payers pockets. In June the Millers, Javan, and the Palis will be going to Hawaii for some R& R.
